Afia, meaning "born on Friday" in the Twi language of the Ashanti, is a women's ready to wear line sourced and sewn in Ghana, Africa.  In aesthetic, AFIA is a fusion of worlds that embodies a universal and multicultural identity.  In process, AFIA moves between time, space, and culture with consistency and integrity.

The collections are made with cotton-wax prints from Ghana with a very short lifespan in the marketplace, resulting in forever limited-edition pieces of unique fabric.  The color, patterns, and motifs used in West African textiles are often visual representation of history, proverbs, moral values, and social codes.  The garments are sewn by artisans and cooperatives paid a fair wage for their craft.
